This role reports to the Senior Product Manager. The Product Owner is responsible for defining and prioritising the user stories in the team backlog. They drive quality control and validate that the stories delivered meet the defined acceptance criteria. The Product Owner plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering digital products that create value for customers and the business.

Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the definition of product strategy, vision, and roadmap in alignment with business goals.
- Owning and managing the team backlog; prioritising features and user stories based on value, risk, and effort.
- Translating product features into clear and detailed user stories with defined acceptance criteria and test cases.
- Ensuring cross-team dependencies are managed effectively and reflected in iteration planning.
- Accepting user stories and features once they meet the Definition of Done (DoD), acceptance criteria, and quality standards.
- Championing customer and business needs in all discussions with development teams.
- Facilitating sprint reviews and demos with stakeholders, capturing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Leading retrospectives and contributing to increasing team efficiency and delivery velocity.
- Collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure technical enablers are sequenced and integrated into delivery plans.
- Monitoring product performance post-release and supporting enhancements based on user feedback and insights.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline (required).
- 7 years + of experience in digital product development, agile delivery, or technology environments.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner, or equivalent (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with agile frameworks including Scrum, SAFe, or Lean Portfolio Management.
- Demonstrated success in translating customer and business needs into valuable digital solutions.
- Proficient in backlog grooming, user story writing, and managing feature prioritisation.
- Strong understanding of CX/UX principles and ability to incorporate customer feedback into product improvements.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or other agile product management platforms.
- Experience in airline, travel, e-commerce, or digital services is a plus.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is required.
