Product Owner/Operation Manager

In fast-changing markets, customers worldwide rely on the company. The company is a global leader in Air Traffic Management, with software and hardware systems deployed in 170 countries. This role focuses on the TopSky - Flow Manager, which helps Air Navigation Service Providers manage air traffic flows and prevent congestion, ensuring safe and efficient airspace operations.

You will report directly to the onshore Engineering Manager for the assigned project within the UAE. Your responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the solution definition in collaboration with TopSky Flow Manager's Solution Owner, the Solution Architect, and stakeholders.
• Defining the features roadmap and gathering users and stakeholders' needs and feedback.
• Working in an agile environment and continuously improving solutions and team performance.

As Product Owner/Operation Manager, you will engage with a squad that builds and runs the product/components using SCRUM methodology. Your main missions will include:

• As Product Owner:

  • Ensuring understanding of business and solution needs, collaborating with the development team.
  • Conducting product demos in front of stakeholders.
  • Making timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Arbitrate between different options within the agile framework.
  • Ensuring strong commitment on outcomes to maximize value for business and solutions.

• As Operation Manager:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the ATFM Project, ensuring smooth lab operations.
  • Monitoring performance indicators and reporting for project consolidation.
  • Managing day-to-day operational functions to ensure efficiency and quality.

Work Experience Requirements

• Master’s degree from an Engineering school with:

  • 6+ years of team responsibility including project engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in software product ownership.
  • Proven experience in cloud solution development and as an operations manager or similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of operational procedures, budgeting, and performance management.

• Strong ATM (Air Traffic Management) background with experience in air traffic management systems and flight data management and processing.

• Experience managing software development items, with knowledge of:

  • SAAS model.
  • Cloud-native architecture and DevOps implications.
  • Full Stack or pure back/pure front programming languages and frameworks (Java/Spring Boot and React/Typescript).

Qualification, Certification & Educational Requirements

• Engineering/Master degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields.
• High fluency in spoken and written English (candidates also fluent in French or Arabic will be preferred).
• Certifications in PO, Scrum, DevOps toolset, and Agile are preferred.

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Experience in agile teams, cloud, and AI solutions with strong communication skills would be beneficial.
