Responsibilities
- Shape products before they're built: Review designs, user experience, flows, and terms against regulatory and customer outcome rules, including Consumer Duty, while changes are still inexpensive.
- Turn regulation into decisions: Assess what is mandatory, what is prudent, and identify alternative routes that still facilitate timely launches.
- Own the regulator relationship: Manage engagement with regulators across all markets, including new territories, and highlight implications of regulatory changes for the product roadmap early in the process.
- Take products to new countries: Customize successful products for new markets with assistance from country leads and local legal counsel.
- Build the playbooks: Develop templates that enable the Legal team to scale effectively without introducing unnecessary friction.

Is This You?
- You are a qualified lawyer (UK or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years' PQE in payments, e-money, or financial services regulation, stemming from a firm, regulator, or fintech background.
- You have direct advisory experience with payments or e-money firms under the FCA or an equivalent jurisdiction, and have worked closely with product teams to finalize live launches.
- You provide answers decisively and justify them logically. You navigate ambiguity across multiple jurisdictions effectively.
