Product Security Manager

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements to provide equipment, support, and training to Saudi Arabia. We focus on maintaining Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and training RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel in a safe training environment.

The main objective of the Product Security Manager role is to establish and maintain the Salam Product Security Management System. Key responsibilities include:

• Establishing and maintaining the Salam Product Security Management System according to BAE Systems Saudi Arabia Functional Governance Manual.
• Managing risks effectively, ensuring product security requirements are identified and managed.
• Responding to Product Security Alerts and investigating incidents timely.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual product security requirements and leading improvements in security processes.
• Promoting Product Security Training and advising engineering teams on security applications.
• Developing a Product Security Metrics Framework to measure the effectiveness of the system and providing compliance statements.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in an Engineering or Technical role, preferably in management.
• Commitment towards Chartered Engineer status within a relevant Professional Institution.
• Experience in engineering management frameworks, particularly in high-risk industries.
• Strong understanding and experience in managing risks related to Product Security, Cyber Security, and Information Security.
• Familiarity with security standards and ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor standards is advantageous.
