The Production Lead (PCBA) role at the company is responsible for leading PCB Assembly manufacturing operations to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and cost-effective production. This role oversees production teams, drives continuous improvement, ensures IPC compliance, and supports operational excellence across the PCBA facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead daily PCBA production operations, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved.
  • Manage production teams, resource allocation, training, and performance to maximize productivity.
  • Monitor production and quality KPIs, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Supply Chain, Stores, and Procurement to maintain production flow and resolve material constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with IPC standards, IPC Class 3 requirements, Production Control Plans, and HSE regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and Industry 4.0 practices.
  • Champion digital tools, automation, process standardization, and shop-floor efficiency improvements.
  • Support equipment readiness, manufacturability improvements, and knowledge sharing through SOPs and best practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a PCB Assembly (PCBA) manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PCB Assembly processes, IPC standards, and quality systems.
  • Proven leadership experience in production, team management, and operational performance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • IPC certification.
  • Experience within defense, aerospace, or other high-reliability electronics manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Industry 4.0, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Experience using manufacturing, production planning, or reporting software systems.
