Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, repair, and routine tests (Mechanical, 10KV, HV, functional & resistance measurements) of GIS bays (including components & modules) according to prepared work instructions, drawings, bill of materials, checklists, guidelines, and customer order data.
- Fulfill orders related to work packages according to production data and instructions, and self-check work package results, filling out and confirming assigned checklists and protocols.
- Target best performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery time while adequately handling factory equipment and tools, maintaining test equipment, and sustaining proper continuous calibration.
- Conduct quality control and immediately escalate quality issues; record deviations, support root cause analysis of failures, and write quality problem/non-conformance reports.
- Gather product improvement comments/feedback from GIS local Service Center engineers, actively support teamwork, and effectively communicate and collaborate with internal customers, stakeholders, and colleagues (assembly, testing, logistics, etc.).
- Maintain a safe working environment by following ABB-HSE guidelines and reporting any irregularities to superiors.
- Contribute actively to the continuous improvement process and Lean culture by providing feedback, sharing ideas, and making observations whenever possible.
- Complete any additional tasks assigned by management necessary to fulfill job requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines while living the company's core values of safety and integrity.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- 2-3 years of experience in laboratory or testing activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and material lists.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
- Understanding of lean concepts and minimizing related 7 wastes; team player.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
