As a Professional Services Consultant Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in cloud computing, develop business acumen, and learn about Amazon’s unique culture. You will work on projects, have the opportunity to obtain the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, and participate in professional development events. You will collaborate with customers and various AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business challenges.
The program offers the opportunity to specialize in one of the following areas:
- DevOps Specialist - Building advanced computing systems that utilize continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, enhancing scalability and cost-effectiveness for clients.
- Cloud Infrastructure Architect - Specializing in cloud-based networking, infrastructure provisioning, and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
- Application Developer - Designing applications that run natively in the cloud across multiple platforms including virtualized instances and containers.
- Data & Analytics - Leveraging data to produce business insights and integrating Big Data services, including using Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI).
- Security Consultant - Focusing on enabling security specialists using AWS Services, ensuring robust security practices.
Upon successful completion of the internship program, select interns will receive a full-time offer to join as an Associate Professional Services Consultant, including an initial training onboarding program, after graduation.
Requirements
- Currently in your penultimate or final year of: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related fields. Graduating in 2026.
- Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++.
- Experience with two or more of the following: Networking fundamentals, Security, Storage or Databases (Relational and/or NoSQL), Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows).
- UAE National with family book.
Preferred Qualifications
- Returning to your degree after completing the internship.
- Available to work full-time for 12 weeks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
