Professional Services Consultant

The Professional Services Consultant is responsible for working with clients and partners both remotely and onsite, handling engagements of medium-to-high complexity. This role primarily focuses on implementing firewall and enhanced security products, optimizing and operating these services, while ensuring proper documentation. A successful candidate must be a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills, following a structured approach to implementing IT security solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a clear understanding of customer engagements, including objectives, project scope, and requirements.
• Participate in architecture design workshops and provide necessary input.
• Create project-related documents, including High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Migration Plan, Test Plan, among others.
• Take part in scoping meetings and develop statements of work based on customer needs.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of project documents and their appropriate storage.
• Perform deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of the company's security solutions.
• Assist customers during rollout, migration, or go-live phases of security solutions.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for customers' staff on relevant the company's security solutions.
• Resolve or escalate issues promptly.
• Complete required administrative tasks, including timesheets and reports.
• Continuously enhance knowledge and skills to maintain proficiency with the company's technologies through self-study or trainings.

Job Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support, or administration.
• 6+ years of experience with Network Security Products.
• Previous experience as a Professional Services senior consultant or engineer is advantageous.
• Expertise in NGFW and at least two of the following areas: Email Security, Advanced Threat Protection, Endpoint Security, Application Security, Web Application Firewall, Network Security Management, SIEM, Network Virtualization, SDN, or cloud-based security technologies.
• Strong presentation and technical documentation skills.
• Good troubleshooting capabilities with a structured problem-solving approach.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent soft skills, demonstrating a positive customer service attitude.
• Self-driven individual with a strong commitment to completing projects successfully.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical or management discipline, or equivalent extensive work-related experience.

Languages:

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages may be beneficial.
