Successful candidates will have extensive experience within the telecommunications environment in professional services, consulting, design, or implementation roles. The consultant will be responsible for:
- Performing deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Fortinet security solutions within customer environments.
- Collaborating with project management teams for successful project completion.
- Developing project-related documentation, including High-Level and Low-Level designs, Migration Plans, Test Plans, and As-Built guides.
- Delivering knowledge transfer sessions on Fortinet security solutions for customers.
- Handling complex technical escalations related to projects.
- Engaging with customers and interfacing with other teams (TAC, Engineering, etc.).
- Completing internal administrative tasks and continuously improving skills with Fortinet technologies and industry standards, including OpenRAN, MEC, 5G, and SASE.
Job Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, support, or pre-sales roles.
- 2+ years of experience in the Telco sector, specifically in professional services, consulting, or design roles.
- Proficiency in FortiGate Firewall administration, with an active Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) certification being advantageous.
- Deep understanding of fixed and mobile networks, Telco signaling protocols, and general security principles.
- Strong knowledge of various Telco services, including roaming security and application security.
- Excellent presentation, technical documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven ability to work independently or lead a team collaboratively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, and a positive attitude towards customer service.
Work Conditions:
- Requires in-office presence following local country guidelines, with remote work considered in the absence of a local Fortinet office.
- Low to moderate travel (up to 50%) within the EMEA region.
