Key Responsibilities:
- Data & Analytics Delivery (Primary Focus):
- Own end-to-end delivery of Data & Analytics workstreams within the Core Banking transformation.
- Manage enterprise, operational, and regulatory reporting, analytical data marts, and consumption layers with data validation and reconciliation.
- Lead the transition from legacy Data Warehouse (DWH) to a modern data platform, executing the DWH demise strategy.
- Core Banking Data Expertise:
- Provide oversight of Oracle Flexcube data models and ensure accurate data sourcing for downstream systems.
- Support data mapping, transformation logic, and reconciliation during migration and cutover.
- Act as a subject-matter lead for core banking data decisions.
- Integration & Real-Time Data Processing:
- Oversee delivery of batch, near-real-time, and real-time data pipelines utilizing CDC and replication via GoldenGate.
- Drive event streaming and real-time integrations with Kafka for consistent data management.
- Technology & Platform Oversight:
- Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams on Hadoop and Azure cloud services to ensure quality and performance standards.
- BI, Reporting & Consumption:
- Manage delivery of dashboards and reports with Qlik and Power BI, aligning operational and regulatory reporting needs.
- Oversee UAT and business sign-offs for analytics deliverables.
- Delivery & Governance:
- Maintain delivery plans, milestones, and risks for Data & Analytics, ensuring progress tracking across teams and vendors.
- Lead issue resolution and stakeholder updates for clear communication.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
- Coordinate with core banking, finance, risk, and compliance teams, and manage vendors supporting the program.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Mandatory:
- 20+ years in Banking/Financial Services technology.
- Proven experience with a full Core Banking Migration involving data and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Flexcube, Data Warehousing, and Regulatory/MIS reporting.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with Hadoop ecosystems, Azure data services, Kafka, GoldenGate, Qlik, and Power BI.
- Demonstrated expertise in large-scale Data & Analytics programs.
- Delivery Management:
- Proficient in Waterfall/Agile/Hybrid delivery models with strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to thrive under pressure, and a focus on detail and problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in regulatory-driven banking data transformations.
- Familiarity with cloud-native analytics platforms.
- PMP / SAFe / Agile certifications.
