Program Manager

About the Job:

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for managing large projects such as core banking system replacements and new geography branch launches. The role includes accountability for the following activities:

• Establishing project structure and refining roles and responsibilities
• Developing terms of reference for the project and governance forums
• Working with the project team to set up repositories and manage RAID logs
• Mobilizing teams and preparing for formal project kick-offs
• Managing project governance forums and overseeing scope and requirements
• Executing change control processes and monitoring project schedules and dependencies
• Managing architecture and design authority
• Controlling project resources and budgets, while also managing business cases, vendors, and legal agreements
• Identifying and managing risks and issues, ensuring quality, and conducting retrospectives
• Harvesting lessons learned for future estimations and managing benefits realization
• Closing projects effectively
