As a Program Manager within the Rides Product team, you will play a vital role in delivering complex, cross-functional technical initiatives under tight deadlines. Your responsibilities will include fostering relationships across departments, managing risks, and ensuring seamless collaboration, especially with third-party partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute cross-functional initiatives.
- Organize and align stakeholders to ensure timely execution of projects.
- Develop an understanding of the technical architecture to assess risks effectively.
- Communicate progress and milestones clearly across the organization.
- Lead incident coordination and build systemic resilience.
- Manage go-live orchestration for major launches.
- Track resourcing risks to support delivery pace and quality.
- Maintain documentation, such as decision logs and status reports.
- Contribute to process improvements within the program's scope.
- Support tools that surface delivery health and quality metrics.
- Integrate AI tools into core program workflows.
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong technical understanding of distributed systems and engineering concepts.
- Proficiency with Agile delivery frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
- Experience managing programs with significant third-party integration dependencies.
- Familiarity with program management and analytics tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
