Program Manager - Professional Services

The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of medium complexity projects from start to finish, on time and according to the negotiated Scope of Work. This role involves managing a virtual team that includes Customer Contacts, the company Sales, Professional Services, and Technical Support to ensure a technically sound, financially profitable, and supportable implementation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills, and follow a structured approach to implementing IT security solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships to understand customer project needs.
• Manage relationships with customers and all stakeholders.
• Develop, negotiate, and build a Scope of Work, WBS, and project schedules.
• Identify resources needed and assign responsibilities.
• Work closely with all customer-facing the company functions to coordinate activities.
• Ensure flawless execution of projects by coordinating internal and outsourced resources.
• Deliver projects on-time, within scope and budget.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems and techniques.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Manage escalations with all levels internally and externally.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Effectively apply the company's methodology and enforce project standards.
• Perform risk management to minimize exposure and risk on projects.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and monitor receivables.
• Accurately forecast revenue, profitability, and other financial metrics.
• Facilitate team and customer meetings effectively.
• Communicate difficult or sensitive information tactfully.

Job Requirements:

• Approximately 5 years in a similar position.
• Technical understanding of security and networking projects.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking capability.
• Outstanding negotiation, oral communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience with global enterprises, MSSP, carrier, and governmental customers.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Capacity to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
• Flexibility during times of change.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from various sources including management and clients.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• Self-driven with a strong commitment to responsibilities.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or management discipline, or equivalent work-related experience.
• PMP and/or PRINCE II certification is a plus.
