The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the scoping and delivery of complex projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and in accordance with the negotiated Scope of Work. This role requires managing a virtual team that includes customer contacts, sales, professional services, and technical support to ensure the implementation is technically sound, financially viable, and supportable.

Candidates should ideally possess exceptional negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills, with a structured approach to implementing IT security solutions. A solid background in business management, budgeting, and analysis is crucial.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strategic relationships to understand customer project requirements.
  • Manage relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Develop, negotiate, and build Scope of Work (SOW), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and project schedules.
  • Identify project resources and collaborate with resource managers to form the project team.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution.
  • Ensure timely project delivery within scope and budget.
  • Employ verification techniques for managing changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems and tools.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as required.
  • Manage escalations with all internal and external parties.
  • Execute risk management to mitigate project risks.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Apply the company's methodologies and enforce project standards.
  • Ensure revenue recognition, timely invoicing, and monitor project profitability.
  • Complete and sign necessary project legal documents.
  • Facilitate effective team and client meetings.

Job Requirements:

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Technical understanding of security and networking projects.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Outstanding negotiation, oral communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Experience with global enterprises, MSSPs, carriers, and government clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and timelines.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-driven with a commitment to excellence.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical or management discipline, or equivalent extensive work-related experience. PMP and/or PRINCE II certification is preferred.
