About the Role
The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects on time and according to the negotiated Scope of Work. This position requires an individual with exceptional negotiation, written and verbal communication skills who follows a structured approach for implementing IT security solutions. The Program Manager will manage a virtual team comprising Customer Contacts, Sales, Professional Services Engineers, and Technical Support to ensure a technically sound, financially profitable, and supportable implementation.

Responsibilities
- Manage the relationship with the customer and all stakeholders.
- Identify resources needed and work with the resource manager to build the right project team for the project delivery.
- Work closely with all customer-facing functions, including sales, operations, order management, and support to coordinate activities for project delivery.
- Coordinate internal Professional Services resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage escalations at all levels internally and externally to resolve challenges and achieve success.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Apply effectively the company's methodology and enforce project standards.
- Perform risk management to minimize exposure and risk on projects.
- Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for the project.
- Forecast revenue accurately and monitor project profitability.
- Assure project legal documents are completed and signed at the start of each project.
- Facilitate team and client meetings effectively.
- Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Job Requirements
- Approximately 5 years in a similar position.
- Technical understanding of security, cloud, and networking projects.
- Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
- Outstanding negotiation, oral communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent written communication skills, combining courtesy, precision, conciseness, and clarity.
- Excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Experience working with global enterprise, MSSP, carrier, and governmental customers.
- Can work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- React promptly and efficiently to project adjustments and alterations.
- Flexible during times of change.
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
- Strong commitment and self-driven individual.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or management discipline and/or equivalent extensive work-related experience.
- PMP and/or PRINCE II certification.
