In this position, you will oversee multi-disciplinary technical teams and consultants, maintaining design intent, construction quality, and system integration throughout the project lifecycle. A deep understanding of terminal systems, stakeholder coordination, and regulatory compliance is essential to ensure successful project completion and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the technical delivery of all terminal building works.
- Oversee the execution of design intent throughout the construction phase.
- Develop and maintain technical delivery strategies and performance targets.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary design activities and lead design review workshops.
- Ensure designs comply with ICAO, local building codes, and airport operational standards.
- Manage interface issues across various systems for seamless integration.
- Collaborate with construction teams for effective field execution.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks affecting cost, schedule, or performance.
- Liaise with stakeholders for necessary technical approvals and resolve challenges collaboratively.
- Work with Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer (ORAT) teams for handover procedures.
- Mentor technical managers and promote continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in terminal building design, engineering, and construction management within major airport projects.
- Strong knowledge of airport terminal systems and design management.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks).
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Advanced certification in Project Management (PMP) or related fields.
- Familiarity with smart airport systems and digital construction platforms.
- Understanding of sustainability standards and their integration into terminal designs.
