About the Role
As a Project Accountant, you will provide professional Financial & Accounting support services at the jobsite. You will have a strong understanding of the prime contract, prepare monthly client invoices, manage accounts payable, and provide the project management team with reporting and ad hoc support. Your role will assist with monthly reviews, data validation, and reconciliations, helping to ensure Financial & Accounting compliance while contributing to issue resolution and process improvements.

Project Overview
Expo 2030 Riyadh is a global platform where countries, organizations, and individuals will come together to collaborate under the theme "Foresight for Tomorrow," promoting sustainable development, innovation, and transformative thinking. The event is set to occur from October 2030 to March 2031 and is expected to welcome over 40 million visits. The 6 km² Masterplan outlines a comprehensive framework for participation and infrastructure at the Expo, featuring an exhibition space of 491,100 m² GFA that can accommodate up to 197 participating countries and 29 international organizations. The company will manage the infrastructure program for the Expo site, which includes early works, utilities, and publicly accessible spaces such as streets and parks. The scope of the project will transition into a mixed-use legacy development to serve the community after the event. The master plan incorporates international sustainability standards for urban afforestation, treated water, and energy sources.
Major Responsibilities
- Provides and assists with professional accounting support services.
- Extracts and performs preliminary analysis of technical data and may participate in preparing reports, charts, and studies related to financial or project accounting issues.
- Works with transactional groups (e.g., Accounts Payable and Receivables and Client billings) to ensure the project is producing invoices as per contractual terms.
- Reviews the accounts payable on hold report with procurement and collaborates with vendors and the AP team to resolve issues promptly.
- Assists with audit queries (internal and external).
- Supports cross-functional work with project organizations to ensure accuracy of financial information.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Client billing preparation.
- General ledger analysis, entries, and reconciliations.
- Accounts payable management.
- Project accounting knowledge, including experience with the company's Oracle systems.
- Ability to communicate with project management and across multiple functional disciplines.
