The Project Delivery Engineer will be responsible for executing assigned projects in accordance with tender specifications, client delivery dates, and drawing approvals. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining project margins and claiming variations as necessary.
- Communicating effectively with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Completing projects on or above the tender margin.
- Obtaining purchase orders and approximate delivery dates.
- Reviewing total cost sheets, quotations, specifications, and drawings.
- Advising on discrepancies and coordinating with the sales engineer.
- Introducing yourself to clients and requesting relevant information.
- Handover client inputs to the CADD Manager for initial drawing revisions and final as-built drawings.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines and reducing paper usage.
- Reviewing initial design drawings received from the CADD team and obtaining drawing approvals.
- Costing changes and ensuring variation approvals.
- Confirming delivery dates with clients and releasing manufacturing orders.
- Coordinating delivery with production and arranging shipping and invoicing for clients.
- Following through on installations and attending sites as necessary.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction upon project close-out and forwarding as-built drawings and quantities to clients.
