About the Role
The Project Development Engineer - Security Systems is a key role directly reporting to the Pre Sales Lead. Based in the Dubai office, you will be part of a growing team responsible for driving the growth of the business within the Aftermarket division segment of Building Technology and Solutions, particularly focusing on Security & ELV Systems.
You will support the sales team on application-specific jobs and product information, contributing to a vibrant environment where you can leverage your experience to assist the team with pre-sales and estimation activities.

Responsibilities
- Design security system solutions involving Access Controls, CCTV, and other ELV systems.
- Conduct site surveys for the assigned territory and involve subcontractors and vendors as needed.
- Attend sales presentations with the sales engineers.
- Interact with end users via phone or in person to gather specifications and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (suppliers and vendors) using strong customer relationship skills.
- Lead peer-to-peer meetings with Operations, Procurement, the commercial team, and other internal stakeholders to ensure that project scope, objectives, timelines, and customer requirements are met as part of the proposed solution.
Requirements
Required
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation or a similar field.
- Minimum 4-5 years of UAE experience in estimation of Security and ELV systems.
- Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Visio, and AutoCAD tools.
- Result-oriented, tenacious, self-motivated with a strong synergy and customer-focused approach.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt working style to the personalities and work styles of stakeholders and internal partners.
- Fluency in the English language is essential.
- Understanding of Applied/Aftermarket business is required.
- Must have a valid UAE driving license.
Preferred
- Knowledge of IT/Networking.
- Certifications related to Security Products.
- Familiarity with systems.
- MCC/SIRA certification.
