PROJECT DIRECTOR

About the Role
This position involves leading major projects and ensuring their success in alignment with both contractual and organizational objectives. You will oversee various aspects including commercial exposures, contract obligations, and risk management to contribute to the overall project governance and performance.

Responsibilities

• Major Project Leadership: Direct major projects and ensure delivery against contractual and organizational objectives.
• Commercial and Contractual Governance: Oversee major commercial exposures, contractual obligations, variations, claims, and negotiations.
• Integrated Project Controls: Manage consolidated project performance, forecasts, schedules, budgets, and recovery strategies.
• Project Governance and Risk Management: Establish effective governance arrangements and oversee significant project risks and delivery constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or another relevant discipline appropriate to the project delivery environment.
• A postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Engineering Management, or Business Administration would be an advantage.
• Professional certification in project management, such as PMP or an equivalent recognized qualification, is desirable.
