Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Director to oversee all aspects of the projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. In this role, you'll be responsible for both business and technical functions along with financial and administrative oversight.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and implement the project management plan, establishing and managing the baseline schedule for timely project delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact with clients, addressing queries, leading contract negotiations, providing strategic advice, and making presentations.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project revenue, profitability, and performance.
- Drive operational efficiency in project delivery by optimizing resources and streamlining processes.
- Develop and manage a change management plan, handle Variation Order requests, and ensure modifications are effectively implemented.
- Oversee the issuance and payment of project invoices, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
- Ensure adherence to Parsons’ procedures, QA/QC standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Review and negotiate contracts with subconsultants and contractors.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the project team, providing clear direction and setting expectations.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputable institution.
- Minimum of 20 years of proven experience in project management, particularly in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Project Management principles and methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to effectively engage clients and stakeholders.
