Project Director - Renewable Energy Grid Solutions

The GSI Project Director will be responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project-related activities and resources. The position entails coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects (Turnkeys, Substations Extensions, retrofit, and maintenance) in Saudi. This role includes leading technical contractual and financial management of construction projects, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Lead and coordinate the preparation of project reviews with other involved PLs, ensuring end-to-end project life cycle from kick-off to closure, including billing and cash collection.
• Maintain and develop relationships with clients and all stakeholders while performing risk management to minimize project risks.

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering bachelor’s degree or relevant educational background.
• At least 15 years’ experience in project execution and project management with Transmission & Distribution Engineering background.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
• Minimum 3-7 years working experience as a Project Director in Saudi with a focus on turnkey substations.
