Project Engineer

About the Job Project Engineer with support to the project team is responsible for the successful execution/delivery of assigned projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with the quality and safety framework of the company.

How you’ll Make an Impact

• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company working values.
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the assigned projects.
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
• Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements.
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel performance) and report regularly.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with the Head of Projects/Operation Manager and other project participants to provide project updates.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with SCM and FSM to assign resource requirements.
• Ensure project delivery as per company KPIs assigned.
• Support the FSE and project team to deliver service on time and on budget.
• Assist in site activities and provide appropriate corrective actions for onsite issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills, combined with open-mindedness, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in High Voltage Electrical Substations and project management.
• Ability to establish good relationships with customers.
• PMP certificate and L6S certificate will be a plus.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic languages is required.
