Project Engineer - Automation

The company provides complete power system protection, control, monitoring, automation, security, and integration for utilities and industries worldwide. We are looking for a Project Engineer - Automation to provide technical support to customers and join our team! A successful candidate must develop a technical proposal and estimation sheet for SPS solution (LSS/GCS/Microgrid/RAS), be capable of reading and understanding RFQ and Tender documents, be well familiar with GCS coding, Microgrid controller, and RAS coding, and possess mastery in Codsys/IEC61131. The role also requires mentoring automation engineers to enhance their skills in coding and design documents, leading and performing GCS Project pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, and executing all SPS projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Possess, understand, and apply the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of power system automation and related products.
• Train and assist customers with the creation, design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of automation systems.
• Prepare and maintain detailed design documents, reports, checklists, test reports, and deliverables.
• Participate in the preparation of functional design specifications.
• Lead in assigning, completing, and implementing work within agreed-upon scope, schedule, and budget to a high level of quality and safety.

Requirements

• Possess a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Have an interest in electric power systems and protective relay applications.
• Be open to travel both domestically and internationally at least 40%.
• Want to gain experience with power transmission, distribution, or generation systems.
• Be interested in expanding your knowledge by learning new skills and assuming new responsibilities to grow into the role of an independent engineer.
• Enjoy working cooperatively in a team environment.
