The Project Engineer (NPDI) is responsible for the cross-functional management of new product development and sustaining projects within the Busbar Product Line (PL). This role involves coordinating the efforts of various teams including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to optimize time to market while monitoring project costs, schedules, and resources. The Project Engineer must build credibility and maintain communication with project stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate cross-functional planning and project execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget and agreed scope.
- Monitor team schedules and ensure proper coordination of activities on the critical path.
- Provide executive-level program updates to senior management and sponsors.
- Develop tracking programs to keep the project on target for schedule and cost.
- Identify and manage key risks, driving decisions to prevent project delays.
- Lead continuous improvement projects and support project team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven leadership in achieving common goals and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional meetings and presentations.
- Strong skills in project planning and data analysis.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably with 3-phase power distribution or Busbar products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with all levels of the organization.
