The Project Engineer is a key role directly reporting to the Project Manager for the Middle East region. You will be based in Dubai, becoming part of a growing team responsible for driving business growth in Security Systems. This role involves supporting the project management team in the design and execution of projects. Responsibilities
- Support the project management team in designing and executing projects.
- Conduct site surveys for your assigned territory and engage subcontractors for installation works.
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
- Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements while representing them in the field.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or similar discipline from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of project engineering experience in executing low voltage physical security systems in the UAE.
- Comprehensive knowledge of large physical security systems including Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, Gate Barrier, and Intrusion Systems.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, team management, and influencing skills.
- Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, planning, project costing, and execution skills.
- Ability to determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommending cost-effective solutions.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality and impactful professional documents for clients and internal use.
- Clear understanding of contractual documents and obligations, along with preparation of official communications with clients and vendors.
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing and internal interactions.
