Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you will support the project team in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of assigned projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with the quality and safety standards of the company. You will play a critical role in project management, engaging with clients, overseeing project compliance, and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and the company's working values.
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the assigned projects.
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
• Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements.
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with the Head of Projects/Operation Manager and other project participants to provide project updates.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with SCM and FSM to assign the resources requirements.
• Ensure project delivery in accordance with company KPIs.
• Support the FSE and project team to deliver the service on time and on budget.
• Support site activities and provide appropriate corrective actions for onsite issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills combined with open-mindedness, reliability, and ability to work under pressure.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in High Voltage Electrical Substations and project management.
• Ability to establish good relationships with customers.
• PMP and L6S certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
