As a Project Engineering Manager in the Power Portfolio at GE Vernova, you will be integral to representing the project engineering team within the local project setup. You will interface with the Project Engineering Manager (PEM) and act as the technical liaison for the project with customers, local suppliers, and engineering subcontractors. Your role includes ensuring compliance with Power Conversion and Storage business directives and EHS standards, and managing the planning and progress measurement for project engineering activities.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Be the technical interface for the project with the Customer, local suppliers, and engineering subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with design requirements according to applicable local rules, regulations, codes, and standards.
- Perform technical risk assessments and corresponding risk reviews while supporting procurement in negotiations with local suppliers.
- Provide timely responses to technical issues internally and to the Customer or their representative.
- Oversee the quality control of all local engineering activities including submissions to the Customer.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in an Engineering discipline or extensive experience in Electrical/Electronic/Control & Automation Engineering.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in the engineering of electrical systems.
- Fluent English written and spoken; French or Arabic spoken is appreciated.
- Strong knowledge in all engineering disciplines involved in power conversion and storage, and good knowledge of BOP equipment applicable to these systems.
