PROJECT ESTIMATOR

About the Role
The position is focused on preparing estimations for high-value tenders and coordinating discipline-specific estimating activities across multiple tenders with the respective Proposal Managers. The role requires a keen attention to detail and comprehensive oversight of the estimation process to ensure accuracy and timeliness in tender submissions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimations of large value tenders and coordinate with Proposal Managers on discipline-specific estimating activities.
• Review the Tender Documents for discrepancies.
• Supervise the Estimators and Senior Estimators.
• Finalize fabrication and erection man-hours, painting areas, and various specialty items.
• Review and summarize Material Lists and Material specifications to identify shortfalls in supply lists.
• Price painting materials, labor, equipment, passive fireproofing, and coatings.
• Verify that quotations meet required specifications from procurement.
• Prepare lists of installation, testing and commissioning, spare parts, and special tools.
• Compute unit rate costs based on man-hours and material price lists.
• Prepare Bid Tabs for subcontract works.
• Provide assistance for all aspects related to Tenders, Projects, and Proposals.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a related discipline or equivalent; a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in multi-discipline estimation coordination within the Oil & Gas Industry.
