The company is looking for an exceptionally talented Project Lead to join our team! In this role, you will work on infrastructure projects that make a significant impact on our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for assigned project elements, monitoring progress to meet schedule and budget requirements.
- Identify and document changes in scope.
- Assist in determining the scope of procurement work, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress to maintain procurements.
- Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
- Complete assignments such as drawings and specifications utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable.
- Prepare standard engineering computations, material quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
- Prepare technical reports and document activities for the client and project management.
- Ensure client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines.
- Expedite distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client and Project Manager.
- Review small and portions of larger supplier drawing submittals and assist in performing technical bid analyses.
- Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
- Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience in large infrastructure projects, particularly within the UAE.
- Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in Infrastructure Design.
- Background/knowledge in Planning/Scheduling.
- Effective communication skills.
