In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities. You will ensure that activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed efficiently and cost-effectively. As a design authority for specific engineering disciplines, you will complete the corresponding engineering assignments.

You will serve as the technical lead for engineering activities classified as low to medium engineering complexity, with expertise in Process Control and/or Safety Systems, Power Management Systems (PMS), or Substation Control and Monitoring Systems (SCMS) using the company's 800xA, Symphony Plus (S+), and/or other control systems. Your responsibilities also include ensuring project execution meets contractual specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements while maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical lead and design authority, ensuring engineering deliverables conform to safety and quality requirements.
  • Coach project engineers and designers on translating conceptual designs to engineering documentation.
  • Lead and coordinate teams in all engineering disciplines on projects.
  • Interact with customers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
  • Create work plans and cost estimates in collaboration with Project Managers.
  • Collaborate on project installation, commissioning, and site activities.
  • Perform complex field service tasks and provide recommendations for system improvements.
  • Utilize knowledge of the company's products for customer support and service business development.

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience in automation, specifically with control systems and industrial communication protocols.
  • Degree in Engineering with expertise in automation systems in the Oil & Gas and/or Power & Water industries.
  • Proficient in English for communication with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Passionate about customer collaboration and problem-solving with good communication skills.
  • Experience with industrial protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, OPC, IEC 61850, IEC 101/104.
