Project Management Experience Program

About the Role The Project Management Experience Program (PMEP) focuses on the accelerated development of early career EPC and project management personnel. The program emphasizes intensive training in both technical and leadership skills, preparing graduates for successful careers in the Gas Power Business's Project Management team. Program Overview - The PMEP is a two-year program that starts in April. - Participants will undergo three eight-month rotational assignments, which include mandatory rotations in the following areas: - Field / Construction - Scheduling - A third rotation in another discipline (options include commercial operations, quality, sourcing, contract management, finance, project controls, logistics, project management, lean, and technical). - Participants are expected to show a strong interest in field-based work. Responsibilities - Develop leadership skills to meet customer and business objectives. - Engage in comprehensive training across various functions and disciplines. - Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to learn in multi-business and multi-location environments. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university. - A minimum of 3 years of industry experience and a maximum of 8 years. - Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally for up to 8 months per rotation. - Ability to participate in field site rotations. - Commitment to a 2-year obligation to the sponsoring business upon graduation. Desired Characteristics - Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. - Experience in Power/Energy Industries. - Familiarity with contracts. - Proven leadership skills and experience leading projects or teams. - Construction experience. - At least 2 years of industry experience with demonstrated solid performance. - Excellent written and oral communication, as well as facilitation skills.
