Key Responsibilities
- Lead applications development projects from initiation to closure, overseeing the full planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality software products.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans using Agile methodologies, establishing clear objectives, sprints, milestones, and delivery timelines.
- Define and manage project scope and technical resources, coordinating between developers, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and availability.
- Proactively manage risks and mitigate disruptions, specifically addressing security vulnerabilities within a DevSecOps framework and handling scope changes effectively.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, facilitating communication between technical teams and stakeholders while providing regular updates on project health and quality control.
- Track project progress, adjusting plans when necessary to ensure all software delivery goals and KPIs are met.
- Manage project financials and track invoices and milestones to ensure adherence to the financial constraints of the engagement.
- Adhere to project management office practices and governance.
Qualifications
- Professional Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in managing software applications development or IT-related projects, with a strong background in technical leadership.
- Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant technical field.
- Domain Expertise: Must be a Subject Matter Expert in Project Management with specific knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and DevSecOps integration.
- Certifications: Professional certification is required; PMP (Project Management Professional) and PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) are highly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
