Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with all consultants to ensure a unified response to the developer’s vision, program, and standards.
- Manage the approval process with government and utility authorities, assisted by the in-house Stakeholder & Approvals Coordinator.
- Lead regular progress meetings with consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with procurement and development teams to align design outputs with budget, schedule, and phasing requirements.
- Engage with the Delivery team to ensure alignment with deliverables and logistics plans.
- Track project deliverables, submissions, and key milestones to report progress.
- Support the Design Manager with value engineering and risk reviews.
- Undertake other responsibilities as required by the position.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Must meet Parsons’ project management certification requirements.
- Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to perform in a management role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
- Familiarity with current technology and its application in projects.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in infrastructure design with a solid grasp of design principles and project management.
- Proficient in creating PowerPoint presentations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
Key Relationships:
- Receive supervision from Regional Managers and Department Managers.
- Supervise Project Engineers and project support staff.
- Internal contacts include all project employees and various departments.
- External contacts comprise clients, subconsultants, subcontractors, and government agencies.
