We seek candidates with a solid background in project management, particularly those who have implemented end-to-end data and analytics programs, preferably in financial institutions or large organizations. The ideal candidate should possess experience in managing projects/programs involving technologies such as Informatica suite (BDM), visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), data models for Risk, Finance, Retail, and Corporate business units (using Python), as well as projects related to Machine Learning, AI, and Data Science. Additionally, exposure to Data Governance and the Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) is preferred.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables aligning with business objectives.
- Identifying project phases, activities, and resource requirements.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within scope and budget.
- Developing plans and metrics to track project progress and quality compliance.
- Managing project risks, dependencies, and the project budget.
- Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Organizing workshops and monitoring team work schedules.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years' experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in a Banking/Financial institution, with an overall experience of more than 14 years.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Finance/Banking industry is preferred.
- Experience in delivering Waterfall and Hybrid Methodology projects.
- An IT degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Certifications in Project Management (PMP/Prince 2) are preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent understanding of project management, planning, and monitoring within a large organization.
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of IT resources, planning, cost, and budget analysis.
- Ability to manage complex change management programs and business transformations.
