The Opportunity
As a Project Manager in the AI Factory PMO, you will lead the delivery of complex, high-density global data center and AI compute infrastructure programs. This role includes new builds, expansions, and upgrades to support AI, GPU, and HPC workloads. Your responsibilities will cover the full project lifecycle from requirement definition to operational handover, ensuring delivery excellence and supporting the company's expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full end-to-end project lifecycle, from business requirements and design through execution, commissioning, and handover.
- Define project charters and governance frameworks.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Work closely with PMO Office for accurate updates and structured retrospectives at project completion.
- Conduct stakeholder mapping and manage communications across teams and stakeholders.
- Identify, monitor, and manage project risks and issues.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Establish strong vendor relationships and manage Statements of Work.
- Oversee installation and commissioning activities.
- Support the transition of infrastructure into operations.
- Contribute to the development of PMO standards and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Project management experience with complex data center, AI, GPU, and HPC infrastructure programs.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure components.
- Degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Relevant project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum).
- Experience managing multi-vendor ecosystems and executive-level stakeholders.
- Understanding of risk, security, HSE, and compliance requirements.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
- Familiarity with AI technologies and associated platforms.
- Knowledge of industry standards and experience with Tier III data center design.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities.
