Project Manager - Banking & Payments

The company is seeking a Project Manager to lead banking and payment product initiatives. This role demands strong functional expertise in financial services, exceptional project management skills, and the capacity to collaborate across business, compliance, and technology teams. The Project Manager will ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and align with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project execution for payments and banking product implementations.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with client requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and technical teams to translate functional needs into actionable plans.
• Manage stakeholder communication across clients, compliance, and technology functions.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements in Bahrain and international markets.
• Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
• Drive process improvements and best practices in project governance.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

• 6–10 years of project management experience in banking, fintech, or IT services.
• Strong knowledge of payment systems (cards, SWIFT, ACH, real-time payments, UPI equivalents).
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards in the GCC region.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, etc.).
• PMP/Prince2/Agile certification is preferred.
• Experience working in multicultural environments and with international clients.

Language Requirements:

• Proficiency in English is required.
