An experienced Project Manager is sought after to lead infrastructure projects, specifically focusing on Buildings and Roads. The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical background and extensive experience across both pre-tender and post-tender stages. This role entails guiding projects from the tendering phase through to execution, ensuring that all deliverables align with scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Tender Stage
- Review tender documents (ITT/RFQ), specifications, and drawings in detail.
- Lead the preparation of technical proposals, methodologies, and execution strategies.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and commercial teams to develop BOQ/MTO and cost estimates.
- Identify project risks, constraints, and assumptions, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Participate in technical and commercial bid clarifications with clients.
- Support value engineering and optimization of design and execution approach.
Post-Tender Stage
- Lead project kick-off and ensure smooth handover from tendering to execution team.
- Manage overall project execution, ensuring compliance with contract, specifications, and standards.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, electrical & instrumentation).
- Monitor project progress, budget, and resources; implement corrective actions when required.
- Oversee engineering deliverables, procurement activities, and construction progress.
- Manage RFIs, technical queries, variations, and change orders.
- Ensure quality assurance, HSE compliance, and proper documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Support commissioning, testing, and project close-out activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
- PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Problem-solving and risk management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience:
- Minimum 15+ years as a Project Manager in infrastructure (Building & Roads) projects.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure project lifecycle (Buildings, Roads, Utilities, Substations, Pipelines, etc.).
- Expertise in reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
- Experience in BOQ/MTO preparation and cost estimation.
- Familiarity with contract types (FIDIC preferred) and project controls.
- Ability to manage technical coordination across disciplines.
