Job Specific Accountabilities
Strategy & Execution
- Support the translation of the company's corporate strategy into assigned transformation initiatives and post-acquisition integration workstreams, ensuring alignment with portfolio priorities.
- Engage with business and functional stakeholders to gather input, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment with strategic intent and value targets.
- Maintain visibility on how daily activities align with the broader strategic objectives of the Transformation & Integration portfolio.
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders across L&S, business units, subsidiaries, and corporate functions to progress assigned transformation initiatives.
- Facilitate engagement with external counterparts, including consultant teams and integration counterparts.
- Prepare governance materials, progress reports, risk and issue logs, and escalate inputs for steering committees.
- Maintain stakeholder engagement plans, decision logs, and communication materials in line with governance standards.
Transformation and Integration Planning & Delivery
- Conduct data analysis and stakeholder interviews to diagnose performance gaps and inefficiencies.
- Perform quantitative analysis to identify and validate performance and value targets for transformation initiatives.
- Track and report on synergy and value realization, maintaining baselines and monitoring progress against targets.
- Develop detailed workplans, deliverables, and implementation plans to drive execution of assigned workstreams.
- Apply change management, stakeholder engagement, and communication practices to support adoption of new ways of working.
Innovation & Industry Trends
- Research emerging trends and tools in transformation and digital enablement relevant to logistics, shipping, and energy sectors.
- Identify opportunities to apply new methodologies and analytics in initiative delivery.
- Contribute to enhancing the internal knowledge base of the Transformation & Integration function.
- Support a forward-thinking culture by piloting new tools and methodologies to strengthen transformation capabilities.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field; a Master’s in Business Administration is advantageous.
- Globally recognized certification in project/programme management (e.g., PMP®, PRINCE2®) required if outside of management consulting; change management certification is advantageous.
- 7+ years of experience in business transformation, strategy execution, or M&A from an industry or consulting background.
- Sector experience within maritime, logistics, and energy is highly desirable, as well as experience with government-owned entities or large industrial organizations.
Professional Certifications
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering transformation programs or post-merger integration workstreams, including synergy identification and TOM design.
