Project Manager

This role involves managing, supervising, and controlling a diverse range of major multi-disciplined engineering projects from inception through to completion and handover, specifically related to new plants, facilities, and modifications to existing plants and systems. The Project Manager is expected to ensure optimal and economic development of projects consistent with shareholders' guidelines.

Key responsibilities include leading technical inputs during proposal and conceptual developments, coordinating design and materials specifications, managing procurement and contract tendering stages, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards. The individual will manage Project Management Consultants and oversee effective site supervision and administration, providing regular information to management on project progress.

The Project Manager will lead teams in developing strategies for implementation, direct project management teams through all phases of project execution, and manage multinational contractors to ensure sound project management principles are met while adhering to safety regulations. This includes reviewing source materials for future project requirements, initiating project work programs and standards, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills: Candidates should have 12 years of professional experience in Project Engineering/Execution within Oil & Gas projects, including at least 5 years in leadership roles involving multi-disciplined staff, consultants, or contractors. A comprehensive understanding of contracts, planning, budget control, and strong project management and leadership skills is essential.

Professional Certifications: A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
