Project Manager (Core42)

The company, a leader in AI-powered cloud and digital infrastructure, is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in GPU / Cloud deployments, data centre construction, or digital technology capital delivery projects. This role involves managing GPU deployments while ensuring compliance with time, cost, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed GPU deployment project plans, schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
• Manage technical aspects of the project including supply chain, engineering, and operations.
• Oversee the day-to-day execution of project tasks including schedule updates, milestone tracking, and vendor engagement.
• Coordinate project teams across various functional areas to ensure timely deliverables.
• Lead project ceremonies and provide status updates to the Regional Lead and PMO.
• Ensure adherence to security and data privacy standards relevant to AI and sovereign cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
• Plan and oversee the execution of testing and commissioning/handover to operations.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to the improvement of deployment processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Circa 10 years in project management, with at least 2 years specifically in data centre and/or GPU environments.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with end-to-end technology solutions, including SaaS, e-commerce, ERP, CRM, and cloud infrastructures (AWS/Azure).
• Communication Skills: Proficient in verbal and written communication, capable of simplifying complex concepts.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Project Management Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications like Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and G42 Cloud.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
