Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for the full project management lifecycle, including business requirements, design, planning, execution, and handover.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
- Create and maintain up-to-date documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and technical documentation.
- Proactively manage internal stakeholder expectations and communications, ensuring deliverables align with project plans.
- Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, resolving issues promptly and escalating as needed.
- Facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and track progress.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee installation and commissioning phases, coordinating logistics and on-site activities.
- Ensure agreed handover of infrastructure to operations teams with full documentation and training.
- Support the development of standard project management methodologies and key processes for successful deployment.
Requirements
- Demonstrable project management experience delivering complex projects within the tech industry, preferably with a focus on AI and GPU projects.
- A degree in project management, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster).
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project).
- Strong leadership skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience in managing budgets, resources, and timelines effectively for project success.
- Understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, high-performance computing, and related architectures.
- Ability to navigate and thrive in an unstructured environment, highly organized with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure components, including power, cooling, compute, networking, and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as Uptime Institute, TIA-942, and ASHRAE guidelines.
- Experience with Tier 3 data center design and construction.
