The company is looking for an exceptionally talented Project Manager (Design) to join our team!

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Plan, direct, supervise, and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project.
  • Forecast monthly revenue, labor costs, ODCs, and gross profit for the term of the project.
  • Develop and manage the project budget; oversee profitability.
  • Handle project invoicing and billing including all accounts receivable and payable.
  • Establish and oversee the Project Management Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other necessary documents.
  • Monitor draft and final deliverables for adherence to project requirements, assigning responsibilities to subordinates based on their qualifications and strengths.
  • Negotiate changes to the scope of work with clients and subcontractors, while maintaining client relationships and rapport with potential teaming partners.
  • Develop career development plans for direct reports and identify training needs for staff.
  • Responsible for employee performance management, recognition, and disciplinary efforts.
  • Participate in key conferences for networking and brand exposure, and submit abstracts for presentations from staff.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and discipline leads for developing budgets and schedules.
  • Propose actions to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, and advise clients and company management of any changes.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of all project activity, including significant milestones, to management.
  • Act as the company representative with the client and subcontractors during program execution.
  • Identify business development opportunities and maintain knowledge of project pipeline for key clients.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical/business field.
  • 10+ years of related work experience.
  • Understanding of the entire Design Lifecycle.
