The company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for leading and managing the successful delivery of small to medium-sized projects in accordance with client requirements, contractual obligations, and company procedures. The Project Manager will report to the Project Director or Program Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, including development of scope, budgets, schedules, resource plans, and implementation strategies.
- Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact to ensure project requirements, expectations, and deliverables are met.
- Monitor project performance, resources, budgets, and schedules, implementing corrective actions to address risks and challenges.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, vendors, and procurement activities for efficient project delivery.
- Lead project staffing, team development, performance management, and mentoring of direct reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, security, and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project documentation, reporting, change control, and contract variations, including negotiation of scope changes with clients and subcontractors.
- Chair project meetings, provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, and maintain accurate records of project activities and performance.
- Review bid documents and support procurement and tendering activities as required.
- Perform other project management duties necessary to ensure successful project completion.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 14 years of relevant experience in infrastructure design and project management.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure design projects within budget and schedule constraints.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, contract administration, and commercial management.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Desired Skills:
- Professional Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Experience delivering major infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC region.
- Familiarity with local authority requirements and approval processes.
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional accreditation is advantageous.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary consultants and international project teams.
