Responsibilities
- Develop and manage overall project implementation plans with clear milestones, ensuring alignment with project scope and objectives.
- Lead end-to-end project implementation using Agile methodology, covering all phases from planning to execution and final reporting.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical evaluations, SOWs, cost/benefit analyses, risk registers, and final project reports.
- Coordinate closely with product managers, clients, and partner organizations to prioritize requirements, manage deliverables, and ensure successful outcomes.
- Organize and facilitate team meetings, agile ceremonies, and steering committees while tracking and closing actions to expedite delivery.
- Monitor execution of product development projects in the cloud with cross-functional teams of data scientists and software engineers.
- Identify and remove obstacles, manage dependencies, and realistically estimate delivery timelines while maintaining stakeholder expectations.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and updates to stakeholders, including senior management, in a clear and timely manner.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned, drive continuous improvement, and support ISO-aligned best practices.
- Establish governance structures, define accountabilities, and oversee vendor management to secure seamless collaboration with third-party partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Petroleum, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in customer support and operations projects in technology related to the Oil & Gas and Energy Industry.
- At least 12 years of overall experience with a minimum of 7-8 years in project management, preferably with experience in Oil & Gas industries.
- Completion of at least 3 large-scale project implementations, especially for the Oil and Gas and energy industries.
- Prior experience handling AI and Big Data projects, with familiarity with industry safety and regulatory requirements.
- Expert and evangelist of multiple Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
- Basic understanding of the cloud computing technology stack and familiarity with web-based applications.
