About the Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and managing client and internal projects from scoping through to delivery, acting as the main delivery contact for assigned clients. This role ensures that client and internal projects are planned, delivered, and reported to standard, on time, and within agreed hours. The Project Manager will serve as the clear delivery contact for all stakeholders and provide the leadership team with full visibility on project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
- Plan and run client and internal projects from scoping through to completion.
- Build project plans with clear milestones, owners, dependencies, and timelines.
- Coordinate delivery across internal teams to ensure timely handoffs.
- Manage change requests on active projects against the agreed scope.
Client Project Management
- Act as the main delivery contact for assigned clients and their projects.
- Translate client requirements into clear briefs and requests for delivery teams.
- Conduct regular project updates with clients on progress, risks, and next steps.
- Compile and review client reports from delivery teams before they are sent.
Work Intake & Scoping
- Run a central intake process for all client and internal work requests.
- Route standard requests to the appropriate team through established SOPs.
- Identify bespoke requests and confirm requirements with key stakeholders.
- Prepare project proposals for bespoke work, agreeing on pricing with senior leadership.
Tracking, Risk & Control
- Track all projects, tasks, and key deliverables from start through to completion.
- Maintain risk logs and trackers to ensure that status, owners, and risks are always current.
- Escalate blocked, at-risk, or overdue items to the relevant team promptly.
- Audit completed deliverables against agreed scope, standards, and acceptance criteria.
Hours & Utilisation
- Allocate project management hours across clients in accordance with agreed service agreements.
- Ensure all project time is logged accurately and punctually.
- Track hours against each client agreement and flag over-servicing early.
- Report monthly on billable hours and utilisation against targets.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Produce weekly project status reports on delivery, risks, and hours.
- Run project meetings, record decisions, and track agreed actions to closure.
- Identify and report recurring delays, bottlenecks, and errors.
- Maintain project templates and recommend workflow and tool improvements.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years in project management, ideally in an agency, consultancy, or managed services environment.
- Proven experience delivering client projects to agreed scope, timelines, and hours.
- Experience scoping work and preparing project proposals with stakeholders.
- Experience managing scope, change requests, and project risks.
- Experience tracking billable hours or utilisation against targets.
- Hands-on experience with project or workflow tools (Jira, Asana, Monday, or similar).
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for tracking and reporting.
- Excellent written English and attention to detail.
- A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- PRINCE2, PMP, CAPM, or Agile certification.
- Experience in shared services environments.
- Experience managing projects for multiple clients concurrently.
- Experience with time tracking tools and service level reporting.
- Experience building workflows or automations in project tools.
