Position

The company is seeking a Project Manager for the GTB Digital Transformation PMO within the Corporate & Investment Banking Group in the United Arab Emirates. This position requires a proactive leader who will be responsible for end-to-end project management activities related to a large-scale transformation project and its associated initiatives. The Project Manager serves as a central point for business, functional, operational, and technical aspects of the program, ensuring alignment and effective execution of all phases.

The Project Manager will be expected to:

  • Develop the Program Master Plan, including concrete project plans for each initiative.
  • Define milestones, activities, resource allocation, timelines, critical paths, and contingency actions.
  • Coordinate the execution of the plan, covering design, development, testing, rollout, and stabilization phases.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure synchronized efforts across all stakeholders.
  • Lead digitalization initiatives, ensuring comprehensive integration of ongoing digital initiatives within the bank.
  • Provide governance over project execution, including management of steering committees and reporting on progress and action items.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align solutions with business needs.
  • Stay informed of new technology trends and apply best practices in project management methodologies, including Agile.

Key Qualifications:

  • More than 5 years of experience in PMO role with proven management of complex systems implementations.
  • Expert knowledge of digital market trends and implementation techniques, including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Strong experience in cross-border team management and governance.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and leadership skills, with a focus on customer service and commercial alignment.

Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is required.
