We are seeking a Professional Services Project Manager to lead, coordinate, and monitor Professional Services projects from initiation through delivery for complex client engagements. Our Project Managers build relationships with customers to identify new opportunities to address their business challenges and act as a liaison between internal and external technical and non-technical departments, ensuring all targets and requirements are met. You will be responsible for delivering results by ensuring technical projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Rackspace and client stakeholders to gather and document requirements that resolve customer pain points through project outcomes and benefits realization.
- Serve as the liaison between clients and Rackspace technical and non-technical departments to ensure all targets and requirements are fulfilled.
- Build and maintain a network of cross-functional technical resources within Rackspace and relevant partnerships for increased productivity and rapid problem resolution.
- Contribute to the refinement of the Rackspace Professional Services methodology.
- Provide exceptional support by demonstrating the value of Rackspace to potential and existing customers and internal sales teams.
- Manage the scope, planning, monitoring, and execution of technical projects, ensuring they remain within budget, cost, and quality tolerances.
- Prepare key project documents (PID, plans, logs, reports) and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, proactively identifying and managing project risks and issues.
- Ensure appropriate response plans are developed and executed to manage changes to the project baseline.
- Monitor the delivery of project deliverables from third parties and track progress through continuous communication.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and Statements of Work (SoW), including scope analysis and development of resources, risks, and dependencies.
- Collaborate regularly with sales teams, project managers, technical consultants, solutions architects, partners, and extended teams during presales and project delivery.
Required Experience:
- PMP/Prince2 (Practitioner) certification.
- Proven ability to consistently organize and execute projects effectively.
- Technical conversational knowledge in areas such as Data Center strategy & operations, IT Service Management and Delivery (ITIL certification preferred), and general cloud technologies.
- Excellent time management, communication, presentation, and organization skills, with a strong ability to resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Enterprise-level use of MS Office suite (including Project and Visio) and familiarity with other project management tools.
- Experience managing technical projects from initiation through delivery, preferably in managed services or cloud.
