As a Project Manager and KSA Epic Delivery Owner, you will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of delivery for Epics, which includes the entire process from ideation through implementation, release, and benefits realization. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Subject Matter Expert (SME) groups to define project scope, outcomes, dependencies, and success metrics. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Epic delivery plans, including timelines, resource allocations, budgets, and milestones.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Lead collaboration across Agile Teams, ensuring effective synchronization and management of dependencies.
- Act as the primary contact for all Epic-related communications and updates.
- Monitor delivery performance and ensure clarity on deliverables, priorities, and success metrics.
- Oversee project documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Contribute to the development of business cases and proposals for new Epics or enhancements.
Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
- PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus.
- 5–7 years of experience in delivering complex initiatives, preferably in healthcare or insurance.
- Strong understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile delivery practices; SAFe certifications are desirable.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing deliveries across multiple workstreams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior executives.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of managing competing priorities.
