Responsibilities
- Oversee project lifecycle from initiation to post-delivery support.
- Define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Engage in discussions with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and project expectations.
- Gather, analyze, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications, BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
- Collaborate with development and technical teams to ensure comprehension of business requirements and effective translation into technical solutions.
- Analyze existing processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement or automation.
- Recommend and implement process reengineering initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead project execution using Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage project backlog, prioritizing features and requirements based on business value and technical feasibility through frameworks like RICE, MoSCoW, and Kano.
- Coordinate with technical teams and stakeholders to facilitate project implementation and resolve dependencies.
- Maintain understanding of APIs, databases, system architecture, and third-party integrations.
- Coordinate system integration activities to ensure seamless functionality between applications.
- Conduct data analysis using SQL and Microsoft Excel for decision-making and project performance monitoring.
- Develop project dashboards, progress reports, and performance tracking mechanisms for management visibility into project status and risks.
- Create visual documentation including wireframes, mockups, and process maps to communicate business requirements.
- Utilize JIRA and project management tools to manage tasks, track progress, and generate reports.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure functional gaps are resolved before deployment.
- Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes, implementing mitigation plans as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, specifications, meeting notes, and reports.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet scope and quality standards while effectively communicating with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager or Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
- Proven end-to-end technology project management experience.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with APIs, databases, system architecture, and application integrations.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
- Experience in preparing BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Ability to create wireframes, workflow maps, and process documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring timely execution and delivery.
- Prior experience in the EdTech industry is highly preferred, particularly with LMS, digital learning platforms, or education technology solutions.
- Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or relevant Business Analysis certifications will be an added advantage.
